University Experience

At university I studied Digital Media / Film, Radio & TV.
I worked for a client who is part of the Canterbury Festival. I learnt how to use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign to make a poster, logo, front cover & double page spread for a booklet programme for a school poetry competition.
I learnt how to make an Augmented Reality Poster. (AR) A poster that has a scan code similar to a QR code. When someone scans the poster, a short animations appears on the phone screen.
Radio Documentary: What a Waste
I created a 17 minute radio documentary about pollution in the sea. Interviewing a local counsellor and local groups/ societies that try to clean up the beach and sea.

Graphics
I have made a variety of graphics using a website called Canva. When making graphics for groups and communities, this was voluntary.
Image Manipulation
In second year of university the projects was to create 3 images that would link together to make a narrative. These images were taken by myself using a camera from university and my mobile phone. Then were manipulated by using Adobe Photoshop. To make these images the colourful trees were originally from a light festival in London. The last image, the nature den was created by myself with everything I had in my back garden or from nearby fields, which took 5 hours to build. The photos were exhibited at my university along with other students' work in July 2023.

Working with a client
As part of my university course, one of my modules was working with a client who was a member of Canterbury Festival poetry team.
The client requested students to create a logo, poster, 10 second animation, front cover & double page spread for an anthology for a poetry competition. The competition was for anyone under age 18 and would submit a poem through their school, based on a theme or the word of the year.

AR Augmented Reality
An animation plays when someone scans the code similarly to a QR code, using the Zappar app.
